IMPORTANT UPDATE
Hi everyone,
I recorded a quick video to update you on our progress, please watch it below:
So, as a quick recap:
Things have been extremely busy the last couple of months and I just want to say THANK YOU! Thanks to all the people who worked so hard. From our own design and development team to external parties, such as all the factories involved, the shipping company, our production management team and many more. It’s been fantastic to work with so many talented people.
Let me share where we are today: The good news is the wait is almost over. We are 100% certain we can ship out all Soundbrenner Pulses in December and most will arrive in early January. So in less than a couple of weeks you’ll be holding your own Soundbrenner Pulse. However, initially we promised a November delivery and are sincerely sorry we couldn’t quite make it. If that causes any problems for you, for example because it’s a holiday gift, we’ll make things right. Simply send an e-mail to us at [email protected] and we find a good solution for your situation.
Here is other good news: We have locked in the official release date for our apps! The Metronome by Soundbrenner will be released on December 15th both for iOS and Android!!

#Future of Rhythm Jingle Contest
Write our Jingle! Win Prizes!
Soundbrenner and Splice Sounds are teaming up to bring you the #FutureOfMusic Jingle Contest, starting December 1, 2015! Soundbrenner needs a jingle for use in our videos, and other content. So instead of us writing our own theme tune, we thought we would invite you, our awesome supporters, to compose one. The winning composer of our jingle will win a special Limited Edition Soundbrenner Pulse, a t-shirt, an extra charging station, and a six-month free subscription to Splice Sounds.
The contest starts on December 1, 2015, and runs through December 31, 2015. In January, we’ll pick four semi-finalists, and put the jingles up for a vote on our Facebook page. The winning jingle writer will receive all the prizes listed above, and bragging rights!

FINAL PACKACKING SNEAK SNEAK
At Soundbrenner we are perfectionists and so we think to every awesome product belongs an awesome packaging. The creation of our packaging took many prototypes and work hours, but now we arrived at the final sample and we couldn’t be more proud! We will keep the full design a secret so you have a surprise coming to your door but here’s a sneak peak already. We can’t wait to hear what you think!
BETA-TESTING UPDATE, NEW FEATURE ANNOUNCEMENT
Our public iOS beta testing is progressing beyond our expectations. We have over four hundred public beta testers. We have had some awesome suggestions for tweaks and features. Here are several changes we already implemented:
- You can now simply shake your smartphone and the metronome settings will revert back to 120 BPM & 4/4.
- If you create a new rhythm in the Rhythm Library it will default to the rhythm you currently use in the Metronome tab. That makes it a lot easier to save the rhythm you just used.
- We will allow the metronome to keep running while you browse and change the settings (comes in a future update)
- Countless bug & copywriting & user interface fixes
We want to make the best app and hearing what your requirements are is the best way to get there. Thanks for your contributions! Please keep them coming.

Shipping Update | BackerKit surveys are coming!
IMPORTANT SHIPPING UPDATE!
Hello everyone,
It’s November, so we think it’s appropriate to give you an update on when you can expect to receive your product.
Most pieces of the puzzle are in place:
1) We have partnered with an international fulfillment provider who ships in over 190 countries. They will ensure a safe delivery to your door.
2) We have applied for several certifications to fulfill standards and regulations globally.
3) We have all electronics in stock for production.
4) We have built production tooling for all custom parts and successfully assembled the first units.
The last steps will be:
- Gain approval for certifications.
- Finish quality testing, make small adjustments to the production tooling to ensure all the details are right.
- Produce the Soundbrenner Pulse.
We expect before the end of the month we can start with production and ship the first units out at the end of November or early December. We want all orders to be fulfilled and at your door before Christmas the very latest – most likely much sooner.
All you need to do is to confirm or update your shipping address. Please read on!

WELCOME TO THE BIG BOOM
If you have been to our Facebook or Twitter today, you have seen some changes. We haven’t only been tooling up for production this month, we have also been remodeling our brand image. We feel we are closing a chapter in our evolution and starting another new phase of our adventure. We hope you like our new visuals, and we look forward to hearing what you think.
HERE WE GO: A PRODUCTION UPDATE:
We have successfully created production tools for every single piece that goes into the Soundbrenner Pulse.
We have successfully assembled our first units and sent them off for regulatory certifications for Europe and the US. Obtaining the regulatory certifications is among the most difficult of tasks, however, we are confident. The next steps are to make tiny adjustments and we are ready to go!

PROJECTS WE LOVE: ACPAD
